Call for Entries: Artistic Photography Contest “Bosniak Sehara”
The NGO Bijeli Ljiljan from Rožaje and the Bosniak Council in Montenegro, with the support of the Fund for the Protection and Realization of Minority Rights in Montenegro, are announcing a photography contest for the most beautiful artistic photograph on the theme “Bosniak Chest of Treasures.”
The contest aims to award the most artistic and impactful photographs that promote Bosniak tradition, culture, and creativity.
Participants from all nationalities in Montenegro, in addition to members of the Bosniak community, are encouraged to take part in the contest.
Striving to showcase the beauty of the Bosniak heritage and create a platform for the creative growth of young talents, we invite all photography enthusiasts, both professional and amateur, to submit their creations to the contest for the most beautiful artistic photograph.
Contest Guidelines:
- Number of Entries: Each participant may submit between one and three artistic photographs, each with a unique title.
- Additional Requirements:
Along with the photographs, participants must submit a brief biography including:- Full name
- Date of birth
- Municipality and residential address
- Phone number
- Email address
- A short description of their artistic work (if applicable).
- Submission:
Entries must be sent via email to [email protected] with the subject line: “For the Contest: Bosniak Chest of Treasures.”
Awards and Recognition:
The best works, as selected by the expert jury, will be displayed as part of the exhibition “Bosniak Chest of Treasures” during the “Days of Bosniak Culture in Montenegro” event.
- The top three photographs will receive monetary prizes:
- 1st Prize: €100
- 2nd Prize: €60
- 3rd Prize: €40
Contest Deadline:
The contest is open until March 10, 2023!
Terms and Conditions:
By submitting their entries, participants agree to transfer the copyrights of the submitted photographs to the organizers for purposes of promoting the contest, the exhibition, and the event in print and digital media. The photographs may also be used in future exhibitions featuring the selected works from this contest, without monetary compensation, solely for the purpose of promoting the cultural values of the Bosniak community.
