A Celebration of Tradition and Culture in Rožaje
Another cultural event as part of the “Days of Bosniaks in Montenegro” was held, this time in Rožaje. The NGO “Bijeli Ljiljan”, in collaboration with the Bosniak Council in Montenegro and the Fund for the Protection and Realization of Minority Rights, organized a photography exhibition at the “Hilmija Ćatović” Gallery.
The exhibition, titled “Bosniak sehara”, showcased the traditional contents of a Bosniak bridal chest, including jewelry and handmade women’s attire traditionally worn by young women during their wedding ceremonies.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including the President of the Bosniak Council in Montenegro, Ejup Nurković; the Director of the Fund for the Protection and Realization of Minority Rights, Emir Dacić; and Hasan Hodžić, a representative of NGO “Bijeli Ljiljan.” The exhibition was opened by academic painter Aldemar Ibrahimović, while the program was moderated by Anida Nurković.
